The Company
our Client pools all expertise and power plants in the area of renewable Energies of its mothercompany, one of the largest European Energy Groups. The company plans, builds and operates facilities for renewable power generation and energy production and develops power generation on this basis mainly in the UK and Continental Europe. Growth will be aligned with the political goals at national and European level.
The focus of the company is clearly on wind power projects in the European on- and offshore sector, but will also grow in the areas of hydroelectricity and biomass. Solar and geothermal energy as well as wave and tidal power plants are other areas of the company's activities. Innovation is another key focus. In this context the company is not only focused on classical research and development, but also invests in selected promising up- and coming technology.
Country Manager Hydro power Turkey (m/f)
For the Region of Turkey we are currently looking for a country manager. He/she will be responsible for the development of the Turkish market and obtain and implement interesting and successful projects in the field of hydro energy. The successful candidate has excellent knowledge of the market in Turkey and has the ability to manage sales and business development on different levels with different partners in the market.
The country manager will be supported by a small team in Germany and in Turkey and will recruit staff as necessary.
Main tasks:
- Further buildup of the Turkish market according to business plan
- Preparation of Investment Decisions
- Management of Due Dilligence procedures and processes
- Establishment of Cooperations, Joint Ventures or Daughter Companies
- "Greenfield development" and M&A Activities
- Turn-over and Budget Responsibility for the region
- Control and leadership of all “Building” activities in the Projects
- Management of the Project development in the different Project phases
Qualifications
- academic background in for example technical Engineering
- good knowledge of commercial and contract-related issues
- Experience in market development and projectmanagement
- well funded technical know how in the renewable energy sector, preferable hydro energy
- very good knowledge of the english language
- creative, goaland team-oriented,
- a self-motivated individual with drive and ambition
